Over 100 youth attended the daylong Summit which featured youth-led workshops, panels, film screenings and discussions focused on the ways young people can use art, media literacy and production to fight violence.
Our "Safe City" multimedia installation also premiered at the Summit, created over several months by young people from across Chicago and as far as Brazil and the Kyrgyz Republic. The installation uses the written word, sculpture, audio and video to portray young peoples’ visions for a violence-free city.
