Chicago's best and brightest student poets grabbed the mic at the 2013 LOUDER THAN A BOMB Youth Poetry Festival to share their stories and speak their minds in rhythm! LOUDER THAN A BOMB is the world's largest youth poetry slam which emphasizes self-expression, and community via poetry, oral storytelling, and hip-hop spoken word for young people of all races, socio-economic status, and cultures to come together!
A youth delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic created short videos reflecting violence affecting youth in their communities. This video addresses the struggle for freedom of speech in the news.
