Yollocalli Arts Reach, a youth initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Arts, is an arts education and career-training program for youth between the ages of 13 and 21. Yollocalli is designed to serve youth and their respective communities by developing students’ appreciation for and understanding of art. It is committed to the production, interpretation and exhibition of art and providing an open forum for experimentation, collaboration, and dialogue about issues in the arts, history, and their community. Free classes are held in our Pilsen art studio and in different satellite locations throughout Chicago.

Yollocalli is always looking to work with other community organizations committed to youth and their empowerment. The Chain of Change project allows our youth to spread their thoughts on violence against women, and to share their talent in finding a way to express their thoughts and feelings on the topic.
